Cherries, cherries, cherries. B. loves cherries. He wants Granny to buy some more cherries!.JPG)
Applesauce was just okay. B. prefers plain fresh apples. And he prefers biscuits over watermelon but cherries over biscuits.
Applesauce recipe: 2 Pink Lady apples peeled and grated. 4 tablespoons of sugar. Splash of lemon juice. Dash of cinnamon. Cook on stovetop. Serve.
I've never tried that. Sounds like Megan would like to try it too. Maybe you can teach her one day B! Love Dad.
ReplyDeleteMaking Rice Crispy treats is hard work. Just look at B.'s face as he works so hard!
ReplyDeleteDid y'all laugh y'all's heads off when you saw my face? We did! Signed B.
ReplyDeleteGood thing we put some Rice Crispy treats up for B. to take home for dessert tonight. They are almost gone!
ReplyDeleteRecipe B. Made Today:
3 tablespoons butter

cooking with B. can be a challenge...he tends to want to lick the bowl BEFORE you have finished making the dish...LOL! he really did good with measuring the ingredients...and this is just the beginning...we will make many more dishes as the Quest goes on...Love, Granny
ReplyDeleteB. cooked Mac,Cheese, and Ham with Granny. He cooked it for his whole family so his mom wouldn't have to cook. He is learning to read recipes and use measuring tools. As usual, it was reported that ham was disappearing during the cooking time! Good thing Granny had extra!
ReplyDeleteSupper was very nice. Thanks to all who helped out. That was very nice to help mom have a day off and get to bed early. I know she really appreciates it. Love Dad.
ReplyDeleteB. says... Mom wants me to cook supper almost every day now! Can I do that?!!
ReplyDeleteB. and Cousin S. cooked with Granny. They made meatloaf, garlic rice, and corn and green beans. B. got to take it home and share dinner with his family. He's turning into a pretty good cook.
